2007 has been a tremendous growth year for the Ponte Vedra Beach Chamber and we are delighted to announce that the 100th business to join this year is Pusser's Caribbean Grille which will open at 816 A1A North, Suite 100, Veranda Building in mid November. First introduced in the British Virgin Island in 1979 by founder Charles Tobias, Pusser's offers food, drink and a tropical and nautical store all in one location. The restaurant takes its name from Pusser's Rum, first served on board British Royal Navy Ships in 1650. Pusser's is actually a corruption of the word "purser," the person in charge of the ship's stock in the Royal Navy including the rum! Pusser's family of restaurants is well-known for exciting and innovative Caribbean cuisine, a colorful collection of tropical drinks and its Caribbean Care style of service. Also Pusser's is equally known for introducing the rum of the British Royal Navy to the public. Our new Ponte Vedra Beach's Pusser's will seat up to 250 guests. Lunches range from $8 to $12 and dinners from $15 to $25.
