Introduction

Chamber Business After Hours are held every third Wednesday of each month, starting at 5:30 PM each month has a different host location. We will book up to two years in advance. Most of these are free to new members or at a nominal fee. If your place of business is too small to hold an After Hours, consider showcasing your business at our Lunch & Learn on the fourth Wednesday of each month. Starting at 11:30 with registration, lunch at noon is followed by our speaker. The current location is the Sawgrass Marriott Resort & Spa and we have a speaker schedule through December, 2007. In addition we have ChamberFest, a Chamber Member Tradeshow which is open to members to exhibit, but also open to the public to attend.

If you would like to sponsor a special event, then we have three very unique opportunities for you. Our 5th Annual Car Show is April 1 in the Sawgrass Village Parking Lot. This is a fun afternoon of food, music and the display of over 100 classic cars. June 25 is the date of our 10th Annual Golf Tournament to be held at the prestigious Slammer & Squire Course at World Golf Village. Join over 100 golfers for lunch, golf and an award party with both a live and silent auction.

We finish out the year with our five-day 6th Annual Food & Wine Fest to be held November 7 to 11. Two new events have been added this year. New beginning this year is Beer n' Bites, a salute to our beer lovers at Bogey Grille. International and domestic high end beers will be teamed with casual dining treats. Our other new event, Tapas & Tasting, will be held on Thursday night at Aqua Grill. This wine seminar, another brand new event for those that enjoy al fresco dining lakeside, will highlight a selection of 8 wines from both Masi and King Estate, paired with 6 courses of delectable gourmet tapas prepared by Executive Chef Tyler Brock.

As usual, our weekend events will be held at Ponte Vedra Beach's prestigious Sawgrass Marriott Resort & Spa. Friday night kicks it off with a five course Winemaker's Dinner and the event's finale on Sunday is a five course Champagne Brunch. In between the two, our Grand Tasting features 125 different wines with gourmet and specialty treats from our areas finest restaurants. At the dinner, a live auction includes trips to San Francisco, Las Vegas and a yacht charter and our silent auction features tickets to various artistic events, weekend stays, restaurant gift certificates, etc. paired with fine wines.
